Welcome to MaVita. Our commitment to your privacy is not just a policy; it's built into the architecture of our App. All your personal and health data is processed and stored exclusively on your device. We do not have servers that collect, store, or process your personal health information. Your journey to lifelong wellness is entirely yours, and your data remains in your control.
This Privacy Policy explains the data that the App generates and uses locally on your device to provide its features.
1. Information Processed On Your Device
To provide a deeply personalized experience, the App creates and processes the following information exclusively on your device:
A. Information You Provide to the App:
- Account and Profile Information: Your full name and age.
- Health and Wellness Goals: Your selected primary health priorities from the "Preventive Priority Map" (e.g., Metabolic Health, Cancer & Oncology).
- Biological and Family History: Your self-reported family history of medical conditions.
- Lifestyle and Preference Data: Your activity level, stress level, and cuisine preferences.
- Meal Images: Images of meals you scan, which are processed on-device and can be deleted by you at any time.
B. Information Generated by the App's On-Device AI:
Our AI "Bio-Engine" runs locally on your device. It processes the information you provide to generate new, personalized data points, all of which remain on your device:
- Metabolic Score & Age
- Daily Inflammation Index (I-Index) & Glycemic Load
- Meal Analysis Data (Metabolic Load, Cellular Stress, Molecular Nutrients)
- Bio-Reports
- Vulnerability Risk Profiles
C. Information from Third-Party Sources (On-Device Integration):
To provide a holistic view of your health, the App is designed to integrate with other health data sources on your device. All data from these sources is read and processed locally by the App and is not transmitted to us. This requires your explicit permission for each integration.
- Current Integrations: You can grant the App permission to access data from services like Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) and DNA data providers.
- Upcoming Feature: Wearable Device Integration: A future update will allow you to connect MaVita with data from your wearable devices (e.g., Apple Watch, Oura Ring) through services like Apple HealthKit or Google Fit. This feature will be optional and will require your explicit consent to access specific data points like activity, sleep, and heart rate. We will provide detailed information and request your permission when this feature becomes available.
2. How We Use Your Information (On Your Device)
The App uses your information locally for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Personalize the Service: To create your Preventive Priority Map, analyze your meals, and generate personalized recipes and bio-reports—all without your data ever leaving your phone.
- To Personalize Your On-Device AI Model: The App's AI model may adapt and refine its predictions over time based on your inputs. This learning process happens entirely on your device. We do not use your data to train any central, cloud-based AI models.
3. Data Sharing: You Are in Control
We do not have access to, nor can we share, your personal health data. The only way your data is shared is when you explicitly choose to do so.
- Sharing Initiated By You: The "Share Report" feature allows you to generate a text summary of your bio-data. You can then choose to share this report with your healthcare professional, family, or anyone else using your device's native sharing capabilities (e.g., email, messaging apps). We never see the content of these reports or who you share them with.
4. Data Security
Your data's security is a shared responsibility between our App's design and your device's security features.
- Our Role: We build MaVita to leverage the native security and encryption capabilities of your mobile operating system (iOS/Android).
- Your Role: The security of your data depends on you maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using a strong passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, and keeping your operating system up to date.

MaVita is a wellness tool designed for informational and educational purposes only. The information, analysis, and reports generated by the App do not constitute medical advice or a formal diagnosis. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional, such as a physician, oncologist, or registered dietitian, for personalized medical advice and clinical protocols.
6. Non-Personal Data for App Improvement
To help us improve the App's performance and fix bugs, we may collect anonymous, non-personal, aggregated usage data (such as crash reports or feature usage statistics). This data contains no personal or health information and cannot be linked back to you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
